Cherry Pie Jam

Two main species of cherries are found worldwide — sweet cherries such as the Bing and sour cherries such as the Montmorency. Cherry pies are typically made with sour cherries. Their tartness gives the fruit more complexity and an acid backbone for cooking.

We call this tart, sweet, chunky jam “Cherry Pie” because it is chock-full of sour cherries. One taste, and you will understand why it is one of our most popular jams!
