Warmed in the microwave, this neck wrap provides relief and comfort to stiff, sore muscles in the neck and shoulder area where tension is easily stored. For maximum benefit, apply muscle balm or arnica gel as the heat will drive it deeper for even better results of both products. For moist heat therapy, lay a damp cloth or paper towel against the skin before applying the warmed neck wrap. This will provide even deeper heat penetration. Warm in a clean microwave on high for 1 minute, test and repeat until desired warmth is reached. Do not overheat or leave unattended while in the microwave.
For cold therapy, cover wrap in a protective cloth or reuse original packaging and place in freezer to chill. Cold therapy is used to calm inflamed muscles or muscle inflammation. It also provides cooling relief on a hot summer day.
Lavender is known for reducing anxiety, promoting relaxation and inducing sleep. To refresh scent, dab the edges of the fabric with essential oil.
